The research activities of CESICE's members take place in the International Studies, European Studies and History of Human Rights departments, as well as in the three research groups: Cyber/Data/Nano-Bio/AI, Human Rights and the International Justice Research Group.
CESICE is also an active participant in the Grenoble Data Institute and the Cybersecurity Institute, which are Cross Disciplinary Programs under the IDEX (Excellence Initiative) of COMUE Université Grenoble Alpes (the University of Grenoble Alpes Community of Universities and Establishments).
