Stéphane Gerry-Vernières is a professor of private law and criminal sciences.
She is affiliated with the Center for Legal Research (CRJ EA 1965).

Research topics
Her main research topic focuses on sources of law, following on from her doctoral thesis on "minor" sources of law. Her work covers soft law, customs, judicial practices, etc. Interested in a sociological approach to law, she is developing empirical and collective research on the practices of legal actors. She also contributes to several columns on current case law.
