A look back at AI Week

AI Week, a unique event on the theme of artificial intelligence (AI), was organized from September 17 to 19, 2025, on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères university campus by the Grenoble Faculty of Law, with the support of IdEx Formation atUniversité Grenoble Alpes, the MIAI Cluster, and the Legal Research Center.

The event was a resounding success, attracting nearly 300 participants over three days and around 60 speakers.

AI Week made a lasting impression with its original format, combining:

  • conferences, led by legal professionals, academics, and legaltechs, to learn about legal AI and its challenges
  • a legal tech forum where around fifteen developers of legal AI solutions were present to provide practical training
  • A continuously open AI tool testing center allowing everyone to try out legal AI tools live to better understand how they work and then use them in a professional setting.

This innovative event also brought together diverse audiences who rarely come together to discuss AI, namely legal professionals, academics, and students.
